For example, Epitalon is clinically intended for a 20 day course, repeated no more than twice per year. Healthaide protocols reflect the proper clinical use case for each medication. For those medications the provider writes the protocol for the longest appropriate duration, and the patient receives automated refill reminders and provider review at each refill.
