Payment is authorized at intake, so the patient sees the money leave their account, but the full transaction does not settle until the patient is approved for care. Because of that, use a combination of webhooks to confirm a payment through your CRM:
• The Membership Started webhook confirms a successful membership payment.
• The Payment Made webhook, available in both Workflows and Marketplace, confirms that a payment was authorized.
• The Exam Results Successful webhook validates that the payment has now initiated.
Payment Made plus Exam Results Successful together is what confirms a payment fully went through.
Transactions are also reported in your clinic dashboard and can be downloaded as a CSV for reconciliation.
This applies to any HIPAA compliant third party CRM or application that can receive webhook data. The Healthaide CRM is GoHighLevel, but not every clinic uses it, so the same setup works for whatever platform you connect.
