You always own your customer data. The BAA you sign on day one gives you access to it. In states where you are licensed to provide care, you can take your patients with you wherever you go. In states where you are not licensed, Healthaide must retain those patients for continuity of care, which is a legal requirement. Your data is never held hostage.
