How to review your product catalog, set retail pricing, and publish the products you want patients to see.

Review the products available in your account, set your clinic's own prices, and publish the products you want live.

How billing works

Every product has a cost of goods sold, which is the hard cost of delivering it: product cost plus shipping plus exam fee combined. This is what Healthaide charges you to fulfill the order. You set the retail price, which is what the patient pays, and the difference shown in the product table is the displayed product profit before discounts and other applicable costs. If a medication requires a synchronous video visit, that visit cost is passed to the patient at checkout and does not come out of your margin.

Understanding the products table

Each row is a product. Many products have variants, which are specific options such as strength, volume, and supply length. Each variant carries its own cost and its own retail price. Click the arrow on the left of a product to expand its variants. A product marked No Exam needs an exam attached before it can go live.

Set your pricing

   To price one variant, check the box next to that variant. To price many at once, check the box next to each variant you want.

   A bar appears at the top showing how many are selected. Click Set Pricing.
3. 03

   Choose a Pricing Method (desired margin, desired profit, or markup), then enter your number. The retail price is computed automatically.
4. 04

   Click Apply Pricing.

Your pricing is unique to your clinic. Review each patient-facing total and any discounts before publishing. You may also create a membership that patients can purchase at checkout or in the patient portal.

Publish your products and workflow

1. 01

   Confirm each product you want live has its pricing set and an exam attached where required.
2. 02

   Check the box next to the products or variants you want to make live.
3. 03

   Click Publish in the top right to make them visible on your intake site.
4. 04

   Publish your first workflow if it is not already published, then open the patient link to verify the correct products and prices.

Before moving on — checklist

• Every product I want live has the correct retail price.
• Products marked No Exam have an exam attached before publishing.
• Products I do not offer are left unpublished.
• I have published everything I want patients to see.

Build intake exams in the Exam Builder and Exam Rules. Select each product, scroll to Product Variants, and set the clinic exam for each applicable variant before publishing and prescribing. Confirm providers are approved and their NPIs verified.
