Set up your custom email sending domain

Step-by-step instructions for configuring a custom email sending domain in Healthaide, including DNS CNAME setup and verification.

Sign in to your clinic portal as an owner or admin.

Have your business domain name on hand (for example yourdomain.com).

Have access to your domain's DNS management panel (for example GoDaddy, Namecheap, or Cloudflare).

00
From your clinic portal, open the Settings tab in the left navigation.
00
In the Settings dropdown, select Domains.
00
Scroll to the bottom of the Domains page and locate the Email Sending Domain section. Click Configure Email Domain.
00
Enter your business domain name in the domain field. This is typically the same domain as your website, but any domain you control works.
00
Enter your preferred sending address in the email field. Using noreply@yourdomain.com is recommended for system notifications. If you want to handle replies, use an address like notifications@yourdomain.com and assign someone to monitor it.
00
Click Save. Healthaide will generate two CNAME records for you. Copy or note both records.
00
Open your DNS provider in a new tab (for example GoDaddy: My Products, then the DNS management for your domain).
00
Add both CNAME records exactly as shown in Healthaide. Do not modify the values.
00
Return to Healthaide and click Verify. DNS propagation can take a few minutes up to 48 hours.
00
Once verification is complete a green checkmark appears. All patient system emails will now send from your custom domain.

Note

If verification fails after 48 hours, double-check that both CNAME records were entered exactly as provided and that no extra spaces or characters were added.
