Patients explained
This video walks through everything in the Patients section of Healthaide, how to add a new patient, what each tab on their profile contains, how to view their order and communication history, and how to take actions like sending invites or editing contact information.
Key points
- View patients in a table or card layout, and add a patient with the Add Patient button (name, date of birth, and an address that auto-populates).
- Optionally send a manual invite that lands in the patient's inbox.
- Each patient completes a one-time ID verification step when they enter.
- From the profile you can message the patient, edit contact information, and apply tags from the left side.
- The Overview tab acts as a dashboard for that patient: recent transactions, active prescriptions, and spend by month or 90 days.
- Review all active prescriptions and their details, preview documents, and open historical transactions for an itemized breakdown.
- Keep internal notes that the patient never sees, to share among your team.

Now we're going to jump into the patients page, and we're going to take a look at the details on the patients page. So starting out, we have a patient table here where you can see all the patient's information, in a table-style format. If you chose the card format, you can do that as well.
And you can see the patient here, right? You can always add a patient in this page as well. You can just click the Add Patient button, type in their first name, last name, date of birth, put in these details as well as their address that will auto-populate if you put this in here. And then finally, you can review all their details, and you can send the patient an invite manually. They'll have an invite in their inbox if you do that. But we are not going to do that. Instead, we're going to go back over to the patient profile here. So let's go ahead and click on Chris Zizzo, our current patient, and let's take a look at his account.
All right? ID has been verified. One-time ID verification step, required when a patient enters. We can message the patient, edit this patient's contact information, apply any tags that we want, all here on the left side. Okay. Now we have an overview section here across the top where we can click on any of these details that we want to see for the patient.
Overview is basically the dashboard, but for this specific patient, all of their recent transactions, any active prescriptions, spend by month or ninety days, all of that you'll see here. You can see all active prescriptions and all the prescription details for this patient as well. Any documents, if you want to preview what document is actually showing, you can do that here.
You can see a list of all historical transactions for this patient, right? And click on it to get an itemized breakdown. And then finally, notes. These are not notes that the patient themselves will see. These are internal notes that you can keep about the patient, to share amongst each others, right? So this is the patient page here.
All the information that you would need to know about any one of your patients in one place.
