In their portal the patient sees their active prescription with a countdown to their next refill and reminder notifications as it approaches. They can request a refill as early as 10 days before their next dose window.
To process a refill, the patient answers a short set of clinical questions that ask, in clinical terms, whether they want to go up, stay the same, or come down. A provider reviews and facilitates the change.
Dose and duration changes are governed by the protocols Healthaide has written for each medication. Two examples:
• A new GLP-1 patient starts at the lowest dose and works up one dose at a time until they land on a dose that works. They cannot jump straight to the highest dose.
• Medications like ED treatments carry different doses that serve different purposes, so the patient can select the dose that fits them at checkout.
