Step-by-step instructions for replacing the default Healthaide browser-tab icon with your own brand favicon in General Settings, including how it differs from the Icon Logo.
The Favicon Logo is the small icon shown at the top of the browser tab when a patient is on your intake site or portal. By default it shows the Healthaide icon. Setting a custom favicon replaces it with your own brand icon, so the browser tab reflects your business instead of Healthaide.
The favicon is different from the Icon Logo. The favicon is strictly for the browser tab, while the Icon Logo is the square logo shown when the sidebar is collapsed and in parts of your patient emails. They are separate fields on the same page, and updating one does not update the other, so set both if you want your branding consistent everywhere.

From your clinic portal, open the Settings tab in the left navigation.

Select General to open the General Settings page.

Find the Favicon Logo setting, click the favicon slot, and choose the image you want to use. A square image works best because the browser tab displays it very small.

Apply a crop if you are prompted, to frame the icon the way you want, then confirm the crop.

Click Save to apply the change.

Open your patient intake site, or refresh the tab if it is already open, and look at the top of the browser tab. Your new favicon should now appear in place of the Healthaide icon.

Browsers cache favicons aggressively, so if you still see the old icon after saving, do a hard refresh or open the site in a new tab. Use a simple, high-contrast icon because fine detail and text are unreadable at favicon size, and a transparent PNG looks cleanest across light and dark browser themes. While you are on this page, set your Icon Logo too so your collapsed sidebar and emails match your new favicon.
