Tasks explained

Getting Started and Account AccessVideoUpdated Jun 26, 2026·1 min

This video walks through the Tasks module in Healthaide, how to create a task from a patient profile or the tasks list, assigning tasks to specific staff members, setting priorities and due dates, and filtering your task view to manage daily clinical workflows.

Key points

  • Click New Task to create a task with a title, description, priority level, assignee, and due date.
  • My Tasks shows only tasks assigned to you; All Tasks shows every task in the system.
  • Filter and sort by Overdue, Due Soon, and status, and search across tasks.
  • Mark your own tasks complete as you finish them; you cannot mark off a task that is not assigned to you.
  • Completed tasks are recorded for the day, and you can delete a task if you no longer want it archived.

Transcript

Let's get into the tasks page. Tasks, pretty self-explanatory. You can click on New Task. You can title it whatever you want to title it. Give a description like, needs tracking number. Assign a priority level to it, assign it to any given user in your system, and then select a date in which this task should be due, and you can create the task.

Here you can see we have My Tasks, so obviously whatever I just created is not one of my own. And then we can go to All Tasks here, and you can see every task that you have in the system: Overdue, Due Soon, so on and so forth. By status, you can search, and you can just simply mark each task off as they are completed.

You cannot mark off a task that is not yours, so keep that in mind. We have completed tasks marked off for the day, or we can delete the task if we don't want to have it archived anymore, so this is the Task page. Very useful tool and easy to use.
