Clinic Tasks UI and functionality update

Getting Started and Account AccessVideoUpdated Aug 22, 2026·1 min

This product update walks through the redesigned Tasks page and its expanded functionality — the new task cards, creating a task with a description, image attachment, related patient, priority, assignee, and due date, plus overdue notifications, the completed section, and the list view.

Key points

  • The Tasks page has a redesigned interface with task cards showing who created the task, who it is assigned to, and the description.
  • Creating a task supports a name, description, an attached photo, a related patient, a priority level, an assignee, and a due date.
  • Long descriptions collapse into an expandable dropdown, and attached images can be viewed and downloaded by any user.
  • Overdue tasks trigger a daily notification to the assignee that repeats until the task is edited, deleted, or marked complete.
  • Completed tasks move to a Completed section where they can be deleted or marked pending again.
  • Tasks can be viewed as cards or in a list format, and the status can be toggled between pending and done directly.

Hey everybody, we've got a couple of updates here. Today's update is in Tasks, so let's take a look at the Tasks page in your clinic portal.

First of all, when you go to Tasks you'll notice we have a new user interface where the task cards look really good. Each card shows who it was created by, who it's assigned to, and all of that. If there's a description, you'll be able to see that too.

Let's go into creating a task and talk about what's now possible with this task feature. I'll put in "test" as the task name, then a task description — I said, "Please create a video for our clients and upload it to the knowledge base." I can also attach a photo here; let's say this photo is the thumbnail we're going to use. I can select a patient this applies to, set a priority level, assign it to a specific person, and set a date it's due by. Let's select tomorrow, and now I can create the task.

Once created, you can see the actual task. If there were a longer description, there'd be a dropdown so you can expand and see the entire description. You can also see and download the attached image — any of the users can.

If the task is overdue, we send a notification to whoever is assigned, and it loops every single day until either the person who created the task edits it or deletes it, or the assigned user marks the task as complete. Once marked complete, you'll see it in the Completed section. From there you can delete it, or mark it as pending again if it wasn't actually done.

You can also view tasks in list format if you prefer, and change the status right there between pending and done.

So that's the Tasks page and the new task features. Really good functionality — hope you guys like this update.
