Customize treatment categories for workflows
This product update walks through the new Custom Categories feature: where to find it under Catalog, how to create a category with a name, emoji, and color, how to assign treatments and set their display order, and how the category appears as a tab on the workflow checkout page.
Key points
- A new Custom Categories feature lives under Catalog, below Products, in the clinic portal.
- Categories apply to the workflow checkout process and appear as tabs a patient can browse, such as New, Popular, Orals, or Injectables.
- Create a category with the New Category button, give it a name, and pick an emoji and color (for example a red fire emoji for Popular).
- Assign treatments to a category using the checkmarks on the right-hand side of the category.
- You control the display order of treatments within a category by arranging them, then saving.
- Once saved, the category shows up as its own tab on the workflow checkout page with the treatments you assigned, in the order you set.

Hey everybody, Kris here with Healthaide, and we have another feature to cover. This is the custom categories feature.
If you go into the Catalog dropdown, below Products you're going to see Custom Categories. When you click on it, you can go here and add a new category. Just click the New Category button and let's add a category.
What is a category exactly? This is a category that's going to apply to the checkout workflow process. So obviously, one category that many people might want to add is New, or another one might be Popular. Let's add a Popular category. Let's use the fire emoji and make it red — this is popular, it's on fire right now, everybody loves it. And we're going to create that category.
Now, on the right-hand side, I can go to these checkmarks and add whichever treatments in here are considered popular that I want to add. I can also organize the order in which these treatments appear so a potential patient sees them in the order I choose. So if I want the Tirzepatide to be at the top, I'd put it at the top here, then save the products.
Now let me pull up a workflow and show you what this looks like. If I go to All Products and copy the link, I'll open it in a new tab and drop it in. Let it load, and now you'll see there's a new Popular tab, and it has all of the popular treatments we wanted to include on this page.
You can do Popular, you can do Orals, you can do Injectables — whatever categories make sense for your clinic. Great job by the team on this one. Hope you guys like the feature, and we'll talk soon.
