New patient workflow interface, patient UX update, and featured treatment

How Patients Use the SystemVideoUpdated Aug 22, 2026·1 min

This product update walks through the redesigned workflow checkout and patient intake interface — new product cards, variant and dose pricing, the updated verification and intake flow with dynamic elements — and then demonstrates the new Featured Treatment feature, showing how to feature a specific treatment at the top of a workflow checkout.

Key points

  • The workflow checkout and patient intake experience has a redesigned interface with product cards showing images, pricing, route of administration, and medication form.
  • Products with multiple variants (like Tirzepatide) let patients toggle doses and supply durations to see live pricing set in your portal.
  • The new checkout includes real-time email validation, phone verification with a six-digit code, and dynamic intake elements such as a live BMI calculation.
  • Intake asks whether the order is a new prescription or a transfer of care; transfer of care prompts the patient for existing-prescription documentation, which an AI scanner verifies on the Healthaide side.
  • The whole experience stays on brand with your logo and color codes.
  • New Featured Treatment feature lets you feature a specific treatment at the top of a workflow checkout, set up per product under Products.
  • Featured banner images must show the treatment/medication name only — never your brand logo or name on the vials, since you are not the pharmacy (you can still use your brand colors).

Hey everybody, Kris with Healthaide here. Going to cover a couple of new updates for you that I think you're really going to like.

The first is that the workflow user interface and user experience has been updated. The second is a new feature that can be added to the workflow checkout process: a featured treatment. This means you can feature certain treatments at the top of the workflow checkout process when somebody has a multi-product workflow.

If you don't remember what workflows are, go check out that video again. But in short, in these links we have an all-products workflow. If I copied that URL and pasted it in, it would bring you to a page that shows all products. In the update, there's a featured product at the top.

Let's take a look at the new user interface — it looks really great. This is the workflow checkout process. If a client is coming from your website and doing their health screening intake and applying for care for the first time, you'll see we have an info button and new cards that display your product images, pricing, route of administration, and the form of the medication.

Let's click into a treatment for more details. Better yet, let's take a look at something with multiple variants, like Tirzepatide. We can see the description, more details on administration, and the pricing that is set in the portal. If somebody wants to toggle through and see pricing for different doses or supply durations, they can do that. So let's go to dose five, three-month supply — and there's the cost.

If we apply for care, there's a new checkout process that looks really good, along with the health intake screening. If the patient already has an account, we send them to the portal for an even more secure checkout. If they're new, let's step through a few of these pages.

I'll put in my email — it's validating the email at the time of entry. I'll put in a number, and now it's sending a checkout code. Let me enter my six-digit code. Number verified — check out that animation, it looks really good.

Now a few details your provider needs. These are the intake steps for the patient to fill out for the provider: sex at birth, height, and so on. Check out the BMI shown with dynamic elements. And of course you see the Healthaide logo and Healthaide color codes here — but this will be on brand with your brand.

There are nice auto-populating features here too. When reviewing details, the patient is asked: is this a new prescription or a transfer of care? If they select transfer of care, they'll see what information our team needs to confirm they have an existing prescription coming from somewhere else. We also have an AI scanner on our side that scans their documents and tells us our confidence level that the prescription they're submitting is what they say it is and has all the information we need.

Now let's jump into the featured product feature, which is really cool. To set up a featured product that shows at the top of the intake workflow screen, go to Products on the left-hand side of the clinic portal. Select the specific product — you'll set this up for each product you want featured. I'll use Tirzepatide B12 because I've already set it up. Scroll down from the top and you'll see the Featured banner section.

I've already put my tagline in, and I used GPT to create a nice on-brand photo. Remember: the name and the name of the medication only is what you need. Don't put your brand logo or brand name on the vials — that's important. You can make it on brand with your colors, but don't put your name and logo on it. That's false advertising; you are not the pharmacy.

Go ahead and fill in the banner headline and the benefits. Then go to Set as featured on the right-hand side. This is what it will look like on the featured screen, though the framing will be a little different. When I click Set as featured, I select exactly which workflow I want to feature this in. You might have a workflow set up only for optimization or hormones — obviously Tirzepatide doesn't fit that category — so choose the right workflow. I'll set it up for my sales demo workflow and save it.

Now, on the intake screen, let me refresh — and there's the featured item right at the top. So you can properly display a featured treatment. Really good feature here. Hope you guys like it.
